Tova'le in Havana

The renowned and charismatic Israeli designer Tova’le paid her first visit to Havana. She was amazed by the colour of the sky and the water, using it as a source of inspiration for her new collection for this year. Knits, cashmere, silk and linen in her colours, which are black and white, finished with a touch of sparkle, and some elements of graphic design like the Bauhaus-style bride and groom on a wedding dress. A classic design for the modern, confident cosmopolitan woman who prefers elegance over a brand-name.

Tova’le was highly impressed by the group she worked with, especially models Yanuaria, Liudmila, Jennifer and Lena and make-up artist Pavel, who –she said– is the only one she has never fought with on a set. She wants to know more about what she describes as that mysterious and fascinating country, full of beauty and colour.
